Minus (-) und Plus (+) geben innerhalb dieser Erhaltungsskala die Möglichkeiten der Feinabstufung und der Berücksichtigung der Erzeugungsqualität bzw. des Alters des beurteilten Stückes. Die Materialbeschreibung „Gold“ (AU) sowie „Silber“ (AR) bedeutet immer, dass es sich um das jeweilige Metall handelt, ansonsten steht „vergoldet“ oder „versilbert“, ist aber nicht mit der Namensbezeichnung, wie z.B. „Goldenes Verdienstkreuz“ zu verwechseln.
The additional incorporation of minus (-) and plus (+) into the above mentioned grading scale allows an accurate description of the preservations. Above that, we do not mention criteries which are typical or selfevident to certain items. The terms “Gold” (AU) and “Silver” (AR) refer to the material of which the decorations and medals are produced and should not be confused with the terms of the classes of the decorations, such as “Gold Cross of merit”. Subject which are not made of pure gold and silver are described as gilted or silver-plated.
