INSURANCE

The auction goods are covered by insurance until handed over to the buyer. For the shipping we have a special insurance and the goods. The maximum liability shall be the amount of the successful bid including the Buyer’s Premium.

The insurance regulations for he shipping are as follows: up to € 5,000,- the merchandise can be shipped
by registered letter ; up to €  10.000,- goods have to be send with a special service (FEDEX). 

If the shipment arrives damaged or items are damaged because of bad handling, we recommend to have it witnessed by the postman or supplier. The client could also ship a photo of the broken up wrapping or of the damaged item. In any case we have to be informed immediately. If the bidder does not get any shipment nor a letter of information about the auction results, he should inform the Auction House Rauch. We will then ask for a postal investigation which is a necessary requirement for the insurance. The postal investigations are limited in time.

The damage shall be refunded up to the total purchase price.
